Amy’s prenatal yoga class goes beyond yoga poses suitable during pregnancy. This gentle and nurturing class is for all stages of pregnancy – including those preparing to conceive.

She draws on her Therapeutic Yoga Practitioner background to include functional body mechanics, stress relief, pelvic floor health, comfort measures and movements to reduce pain associated with different stages of pregnancy. Amy weaves her Prenatal Yoga, Childbirth Education, Birth/Postpartum Doula Training and Somatic Studies to create a truly holistic and empowering experience that prepares folks physically, mentally and emotionally for labor, birth and postpartum.

The deep connection between mom and baby’s health and well-being during pregnancy is positively impacted from a regular prenatal yoga practice that encourages nurturing, strengthening and calming movement, breath and connection.

Move and breathe…with your baby! Amy offers a relaxed class environment providing self-care techniques and lots of options for the different stages of postpartum. She shares her knowledge of pelvic floor health, core awareness, stress relief and therapeutic functional movement. This class is a great opportunity to come together with other new parents to nurture, strengthen and support your postpartum journey (and sleep deprived, achy bodies). We welcome you and babes to come as you are (over-tired, in your pj’s, not sure if your little one will be awake, asleep or crying)– to a supportive, safe and caring environment. Come! Get out of the house and be with others, let your little ones meet other babies and remember what it’s like to take a few moments for yourself!

Core Awareness for Moms –

Wednesdays: 10:00 – 11:00am – Offered as a 4-Week Series

$40 for the series (some drop-in’s available – $12 per drop-in)

In this class we explore subtle core work and ways to incorporate Core Awareness into your everyday life. The focus of this class is more on mom than bambino’s – and – I’m still going to be able to hold a little one…or two! We go over specific movements and build upon them based on your needs. Amy shares her knowledge of pelvic floor health, core awareness, stress relief and therapeutic functional movement.
